Tubular Franquette walnut saplings, which are the pollinators of Chandler saplings, can be produced in all months of the year. On the other hand, it is possible to find open rooted Franquette walnut saplings between November and March.

If you look at the general characteristics of this type of seedlings:

  • It can be seen that its general characteristics are the same as Chandler.

  • Fruit weight is about 13 grams.

  • Fruit yield is determined as 46%.

  • It is a quality walnut sapling that is easy to separate from the shell.

  • It is harvested in September and can be consumed in wet or dry form.

  • It is not recommended to be planted in closed gardens, open areas are more suitable.

  • It is recommended to plant one where there are 10 chandler saplings.
